Based on latest data, the number of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the number of male individuals reaching 100 has tripled from 910 to 3,100. During the same period, the count of women aged 100 or over almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are excited to receive stories from those aged 100 or over, their relatives or close ones, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s seismic events and changes.
