Disturbing Video Reveals Point Law Enforcement Get Knifed in Unexpected Assault
One ranking policeman who rushed to the help of a partner that got attacked by a blade-wielder received the Monarch's Honor for Bravery.
Sgt Tim Ansell fought with twenty-seven-year-old Jacob Brown subsequent to he placed a blade to the throat of his fellow officer Sergeant Marc Foster.
Brown began the violence as the law enforcement personnel and their colleague, Police Constable Marcus Wolstencroft, were talking to a driver after a road collision in Whalley Range in mid-2023.
Brown knifed and cut the two Sgt Ansell and Sgt Foster before Police Constable Wolstencroft stunned him with a electric weapon.

Bodyworn and dashcam recording made public by the force depicted Brown, who was dressed in black with a hood covering head, approach to Sgt Foster from the rear with a knife extended.
He ran into the officer who tripped and fell to the pavement, after which Sergeant Ansell stepped in and struggled to restrain him to the ground even though being continually attacked with the weapon.

Sgt Ansell stated audibly: "Please provide help on my throat here, I'm bleeding in the neck."
Sgt Ansell received multiple deep cuts to his neck and more cuts to his arms and body, whereas Sgt Foster experienced cut injuries.
Officials reported Sergeant Foster utilized his palms to control his fellow officer's blood loss before emergency responders reached the scene.
The latest recognition comes after the law enforcement team were granted departmental Bravery Awards in late 2023 and the police federation award from the area officer association in April 2024.
They further earned a Regional Bravery Award in mid-2024.
"The efforts of each policeman eventually protected each other and resulted in no bystanders experienced any harm."
Brown was sentenced to an psychiatric detention in spring 2024, per authorities.
